How to Use Oblivion
Why Use Oblivion?
lowest fees for your followers (1% max)
FREE minting
Decentralized deployment of NFTs (generative collections OR 1/1, you are in charge and can do it without coding knowledge)
New features added constantly and responsive team to make this marketplace the best place for creators to deploy new stuff
Creating Your Collection
Oblivion does not require you to do anything other than connecting your web3 wallet in order to create NFTs. No emails, no profile setup, just connect, create and share! You do not need to setup a collection to deploy NFTs.
1. Creating an NFT
If you already have your artwork and want to turn it into an NFT, simply navigate to the Starport section of our dapp and choose, "Create NFT"
creating the NFT allows you to set the metadata, upload the images. You can even launch a generative art collection with randomized art (feature in beta).
This will deploy an NFT contract to your wallet. You OWN this contract. Oblivion does not custody any contract you deploy.
Create a Release
Now that you have your NFT created, you can create a release schedule. This is important!!! Without creating a release, you only have an NFT contract ready to go. It's like being pregnant, but the baby hasn't been delivered.
Setup a whitelist, create your release to be a 1/1, or 50, or a hundred million, the choice is yours! You have full control over the variables here, including price, etc.

Create a Collection
Collections are not necessary for you to release your project, HOWEVER, if you would like to maximize your project through royalties, and creating a place for followers to find all your NFT releases in one place, you should create a collection.
Currently, creating a collection does have a small setup fee in order to avoid some technical manipulation from bots, etc. Sorry for the convenience :-)
Creating a collection allows you to:
Set royalties for all NFTs you own
Add NFTs to your collection so followers can find your work in one place (similar to a profile)
Sharing Your Work and Feedback
We really want to listen to creator feedback, so if you have ideas, let us know.
Additionally, when you share your work with others, we want to support you. Make sure to follow us on twitter, and @oblivionnft when you post. You will almost always get a like and a follow back!
